Samsung Galaxy S3 review

Yes, now the judgement day..
24 Oct got it from InSing, straight away.. I "abuse" this device,
to see how it can fulfill my requirements. :)

1. Size wise, perfect!

Just nice to be used with my big hands and long fingers (sound ackward right?)  :P

The curvy body is really makes it comfort to be hold.

It's light, feels unlike a great smartphone, but for some people of course it brings a good advantage!

2. Screen, fabulous.. for indoor.

AMOLED is fabulous with its available modes: Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie.

but the weakness can be shown when you use it outdoor during the bright daylight.

Try it for yourself!

3. Camera, good but can be better I'm sure.

Hi-Def camera shoot a good quality.

The down side is only the flash that is too narrow, 

that will gives you the effect of vignetting when you shot closer than 1m,

so it is an obvious weak point here!

4. Processor, RAM, internal memory good, smooth.

with only 16GB.. I'm begging for more..

because the apps are cannot be moved to SD card, sooner or later it will full with cache memories fr the apps.

As I say.. Samsung can be better I'm sure!!

Internet browsing is a breeze, taking photo is snap a finger, browse my 32GB ext.microSD card contents is blazing fast.

I'll write more once I got time.. and now the most important...

yes, it's improving,

I like the Google Now feature, like the responsive, resizable movie pop-up play.

How to do this? fastest & the most "confirmed it runs" way:

Connect your device to your PC/Mac, open Kies software...

it will detect the update for your device.. then go with the flow!

otherwise go to SETTING - ABOUT DEVICE - SOFTWARE UPDATE..

this way is OTA (over-the-air method), but some (or all?) devices available to use this way.

this is one of the down side too, unlike the OTA updates I did for my HTC Sensation XE.

I've won a Samsung Galaxy S3 !!!

yes.. got this one...

As you might read previously in my post quite some time ago,

I was not a big fan of Android actually,

but only find it very interesting after I use its devices.

I used a Dell Streak, then HTC Sensation XE before..

from Android Froyo (2.2) - Dell Streak..

.. then move to Gingerbread (2.3) - HTC Sensation XE,

in which the latter updated to Honeycomb (3.2),

then to Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0)..

Satisfy? yes, and it can accomodate my "creative" requirement :)

Well.. in short..

after 1.5 years using the HTC Sensation XE,

my demand is more.. and more.. 

ASK FOR MORE.... (do you remember a product with this tagline?) :)

then it's getting fully loaded with very useful apps (112 apps),

while games only contribute 7 out of that 112.

Not much time for me to play the games, 

I feel spending my time with my family is more precious, never enough.

Tuesday, 23 October 2012, night around 8pm,

received an sms.. 

I didn't read the message until around 10.30pm,

busy playing with my gorgeous newborn baby boy..

Congratulation, you win the Samsung Galaxy S3.... bla..bla..bla..

hah??

Just in time I expect my Starhub contract ends, I got new smartphone!!!

Well.. I'll write the review later.. after play with it for a while.. :)

Counting hours to meet my 1st son into the world

It's 23.21, and I barely can close my eyes.
Mix of feeling of curiousity and mm.. worry,
as I'll be his father.

God helps us, take care of him, my wife, and myself.
Will wake up tommorow at 4, and check-in to hospital at 6.
C-sect at 8, then we'll meet up.
I hope someday he will read this,
and knowing that mommy & daddy loves him so much.

God is gracious.
